Chief: ‘No foul play’ after body found in Bettendorf

BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) - Police say no foul play is suspected after a body was found in Bettendorf Saturday.

KWQC was on scene where police were taking photos of an abandoned vehicle on the shoulder of westbound I-74 between the Kimberly Road and 53rd Street exits.

Police confirmed to KWQC on scene they had found a body in the same vicinity as the vehicle.

Bettendorf Police Chief Keith Kimball later told KWQC their investigation found there was no foul play involved.
