GRISWOLD, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say a co-owner of a well-known Arkansas hotel has been killed in a traffic accident in Iowa.

Authorities say 68-year-old Martin Roenigk of Eureka Springs, Ark. was riding with his wife in Thursday night in Iowa's Pottawattamie County between Carson and Griswold when the vehicle he was in slammed into a pickup truck. They say his wife, Elisie Roenigk, was injured and was taken to a hospital.

They also say the truck's 72-year-old driver and his two grandchildren were also injured.

Roenigk was the co-owner of the Basin Park Hotel in Eureka Springs .
