Here's your chance to get rid of old medications and medical supplies. Operation Medicine Cabinet is a program that allows you to safely dispose of expired medications, sharps, mercury thermometers and sensitive documents.

The collections will be held in Eldridge, Bettendorf and Davenport later this month. The first one is September 24th at the Medic EMS site on Le Claire Road in Eldridge from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

On September 25th, you can drop off items at the Bettendorf fire station at the corner of Middle Road and Crow Creek Road.

Another collection will be held Saturday the 26th at the Scott County Recycling Center on Carey Avenue in Davenport. You can also get sensitive documents shredded at those locations.
