A man was stabbed and killed Wednesday night in Savanna, Illinois.  It happened around 8:30 in the 300 block of Main Street. Police say 21 year old Jacob Morehardt of Rockford was stabbed in the chest with a knife. He was taken to a hospital in Clinton and later transferred to a hospital in the Quad Cities, where he died.

Police have arrested 20 year old David Klein and charged him with First Degree Murder.
