MILLVILLE, Iowa (AP) - A head-on collision in Clayton County has left a 41-year-old Holy Cross man dead.

The Iowa State Patrol says Lee Zuercher was killed early Sunday.

He and an 18-year-old passenger were traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 52 when a car crossed the center line and struck their vehicle. Their Chevy truck ended up in a ditch.

Zuercher's passenger and the other car's driver, 21-year-old Sarah Austin of Luana, were injured. Their conditions were not immediately available.

The Iowa State Patrol, Clayton County Sheriff's Office and the Guttenberg police and fire departments are investigating the crash.
