He's a guy with a nickname that just puts a smile on your face. Once again, Mr. Thanksgiving is getting ready for his big community holiday meal.

Every year, Bob Vogelbaugh marshals some 400 volunteers to serve a huge Thanksgiving meal, free to the hungry and the lonely. Last year, they served 2,500 hundred people.

On Thursday, Volgelbaugh announced that the 39th annual feast will be held at SouthPark Mall on Thanksgiving day.

"This is the only mall in all of America that does anything like this on Thanksgiving day. What a tribute to the people of the Quad Cities and surrounding communities to make this go," Vogelbaugh said.

Based on inquires so far, Vogelbaugh expects more people this year and he has doubled his food orders.
