ATLANTIC, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say a western Iowa man is dead and another is injured following a single vehicle accident in Cass County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened early Sunday around 3 a.m. A 1999 Chevy Cavalier was traveling near Anita when the car left the road and overturned.

Both men were ejected from the vehicle.

Twenty-2-year-old Brandon Hacker was taken to Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic where he died from injuries. An 18-year-old was also injured. His condition was not immediately available.

It was unclear which man was driving the vehicle.
