Seventy four year old Bob Sullivan is a one man band. He is responsible for snow removal in Charlotte, Iowa. He has worked in that Clinton County community for more than 20 years.

Bob uses two pieces of equipment. The city budgets about ten thousand dollars for snow removal. He plows five miles of streets, and hauls snow to about eight different locations around town.  

Bob says he loves the winter and  he has no plans to retire as long as his health holds up.

On Wednesday, Bob put the road closed sign out on one hill in Charlotte so kids could go sledding without interfering with traffic. One girl said she thinks it's awesome that Bob would do something like that.

Mister Reliable. Bob is on the job in Charlotte. Loving every minute of it.
