Thom is one busy guy! As the KWQC-TV6 Sports Director, he writes, edits and anchors sports Sunday through Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. He also anchors live cut-ins and special reports for local sporting events including the Quad City Times Bix 7 and The John Deere Classic.

Every July, Thom is the main man during coverage of the Quad City Times Bix 7. He spends many hours preparing interviews and formats for the Bix.

Thom is a native Quad Citian, graduating from Alleman High School and Western Illinois University with a degree in Speech Communications. Thom is an avid golfer and is usually hitting the courses with the first sign of spring. In addition to his golf skills Thom also professes to be an "Olympic caliber" (and modest too!) Rolle Bolle player.

Thom and his wife Marcia reside in Moline and have four children.
