Sports Anchor/Reporter Dan Pearson joined KWQC-TV6 in July 1987.   Dan graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois.

Dan hosts and produces the Emmy winning Friday night "Highlight Zone". The "Zone" is a fast-paced look at high school sports featuring highlights, fans and the KWQC-TV6 10PM Anchor Team.

Dan and his wife, Gina, live in Geneseo, IL. The Pearsons have two daughters.

The Pearsons are involved in many church, community and school activities. When Dan is not reporting sports he is busy as coach of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle for Geneseo High School . Dan also maintains a heavy speaking schedule for area school and church groups.
