We start this morning with some disappointing news for a popular Quad City golf course. Around 11:30pm last night fire crews were called to Duck Creek Golf Course in Davenport and they found dozens of burned golf carts, apparently an act of vandalism.

An employee says he can't understand why anyone would do something like this. "Vandalism is so pointless, why they spray paint buildings and do stuff like that. I mean somebody getting their kicks out of lighting a cart on fire." Matt Hasley says they estimate 18 to 25 carts were burned and for certain, 18 carts can't be salvaged.

The carts cost about six thousand dollars a piece so damage could reach in replacement costs. As of this morning there are no suspects.
