New information about a deadly crash earlier this week.  The man hospitalized in the crash that killed his wife and injured their infant, is former St. Ambrose basketball star, Josh Miller.

The accident happened during a snowstorm on Tuesday, when he lost control of his car and hit a semi-trailer on Interstate 80, near West Branch. 

His wife, Meghan Vanzandt-Miller, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Josh Miller and his nine-month old daughter were taken to University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Miller was St. Ambrose's second leading all-time scorer and a four-year All-Midwest Classic Conference selection.  He was also an honorable mention NAIA All-American in 2000.

He's now a social studies teacher at Durant High School.  The hospital is not releasing any information on his condition, or the condition of his daughter.
