Jeff James Whitten is a digital producer for KWQC-TV6. Jeff takes care of the website, works with the KWQC apps and oversees social media.
Jeff grew up in Sandwich, Ill. and came to the Quad Cities to attend Augustana College. He joined the KWQC-TV6 family in November 2011.
You may have listened to Jeff on the radio before he started his career in television. He was the program director and morning show host on Star 93-5 from 2006 to 2011. Before that, Jeff was the program director and morning show host on B100. In fact, Jeff was the first deejay on B100 when the station signed on in 2000.
When he’s not in the newsroom, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Tanja and son Tyler.
