DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) — A jam session in the lobby of Davenport's Adler Theatre. The Night People are preparing for an upcoming concert. The band was inducted into Iowa's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year.
The band is the star attraction at a concert later this month at the River Center in Davenport. Money raised will be used to complete the marquee renovation project at the Adler Theatre.
In the sixties, the band rocked the Draught House in Davenport. Thousands showed up for their concerts. Their music spans generations. Hendrix, Clapton, the Beatles and more!
The Night People hope the concert will bring in at least fifty grand to put the marquee renovation over the top. Money will also be used for the performing arts. The new marquee will have a stylish look, including a video message display and also sound.
The November 25th concert will be the last time the original band members will perform together. Doors open at 7pm at the Mississippi Hall in the River Center. Tickets can be purchased at the Adler Box Office. The Night People, ready to "rock the house" one more time.
