DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A project that broke ground back in 2015 is finally ready for students to use.
Over the past couple years, you may have seen construction crews near Central High School building a brand new auditorium and pool.
Finally, students have started to use both the facilities for shows and athletic events.
"You will see that the district has been great standards of district taxes that we have been able to take advantage of. It's something that will be well used," said Davenport Central High School Principal Scott McKissick.
The total cost of the project was over $23 million.
The auditorium seats 900. The pool includes 8 lanes with spectator seating for 300.
