East Moline Police officer saves bald eagle

EAST MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) — An East Moline Police officer is being credited with saving an injured bald eagle.

According to a post on their Facebook Page, Lt. Foltz rescued the injured bird after it was hit in traffic on Interstate 88.

Officials say the eagle was taken to the Fish and Wildlife center in Moline for treatment and the prognosis was good.
