Henry Co. , Ill. (KWQC) - A Massachusetts man is expected to appear in an Illinois courtroom Monday facing multiple felony charges.
Illinois State Police say 36-year-old Shaun Taylor led them to an hours-long manhunt in Henry County, on Monday, Oct. 16.
A traffic stop was initiated when Taylor abandoned his car and left. When officers approached the emptied car, Taylor then opened fire, striking the car. No one was injured.
The nearly 8-hour search ended when Taylor turned himself in. Taylor is facing felony charges of attempted murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
He will appear in court Monday, at 1 p.m.
