King's Harvest Ministries in need of volunteers ahead of winter

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - King's Harvest Homeless Shelter will be holding two volunteer training classes ahead of its King's Harvest Winter Shelter.

The winter shelter gives anyone over the age of 18 a warm place to come in and sleep throughout the months.

Volunteers are vital to helping the shelter run successfully, so the organization is asking for help. Volunteers are needed to help check in, overnights and bring in snacks.

Volunteers are asked to enter through the front door at the shelter located at 824 West 3rd Street in Davenport. The winter shelter runs through April 15th.

The classes will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. and then on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.

If you are interested in attending or have any questions you can call King's Harvest at 563-570-4536.
