Moline police searching for man accused of sexually abusing child

MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - UPDATE: Crime Stoppers of the Quad Cities posted this man as wanted and then retracted it due to him being in custody already.

This man is in custody for separate charges and at this time is not being charged for the listed below.

ORIGINAL: Moline police are searching for a man who is wanted on three counts of predatory criminal sex assault of a child.

Police say 31-year-old David James Staley has a warrant out for his arrest out of Moline. Police say he is accused of sexually abusing a child over a three-year period.

Staley is a white male with blue eyes and blonde hair. He is 5'6 and approximately 130-pounds.
