Record high temperatures set in QCA

Quad Cities, IA & Ill. (KWQC) A persistent ridge in place over the Midwest is keeping the heat and humidity around the QCA!

Record high temperatures were set in two locations Wednesday afternoon. Moline, Illinois set a new record high of 94 degrees. This breaks the old record of 92 set back in 1931. Burlington, Iowa recorded a high of 93, which ties the old record of 93 set in 1940.
