The Polar Express comes to life in Davenport

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - The Polar Express is coming to life for Davenport Parks and Recreation.

A wooden train being built by the Parks Department. It will be part of the Polar Express poinsettias and lights display at Vander Veer Botanical Park's conservatory this winter. A train car will be stationed outside to invite visitors inside to see the flowers.

The show starts Nov. 26 and runs through Jan. 6.

In the spring, the train will be installed at Fejervary Park.
