While we are focused on soldiers here at home many are also remembering those overseas, and tonight some local bowlers are doing their part to make life on the battlefield feel a little more like home.

 

Dozens spent their afternoon at Highland Bowl in Moline tossing strikes all in the name of supporting our troops.

 

"When you're out in the desert, you really don't have a whole lot of recreational opportunities," says organizer Sue Wykoff. "What this does is provide them with a chance to let loose a little bit."
