CHICAGO (AP) - Dozens of Illinois movie theaters have planned a one-night-only screening and discussion of a documentary about the nonprofit group Doctors Without Borders.
The screening Monday of "Living in Emergency" will be followed by a discussion transmitted live-via-satellite from New York. ABC News "20/20" anchor Elizabeth Vargas is hosting the discussion.
The film is among 15 documentaries selected for a short list of potential Oscar nominees. It is set in Congo and Liberia and interweaves the stories of 4 doctors as they struggle to provide emergency medical care under extreme conditions.
