Bailey joined the KWQC-TV6 News team in May 2009. She grew up just outside the Quad Cities in Sherrard, Illinois, so she is no stranger to the area.

Bailey graduated magna cum laude from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. While in college she worked as a reporter, photographer, producer, and anchor for TV-10 News at ISU. Then Bailey decided for a change of pace to study one semester in South Korea at Dong Ah Institute of Media and Arts where she fell in love with Korean culture and traveling.

But it was her experience interning at WEEK-TV in Peoria and at KWQC that kept her in the Midwest where she loves to call home.

Outside of work you may see Bailey out enjoying different restaurants and shops, or catch her singing a favorite tune at karaoke night.
