CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Kemba Walker scored eight of his 22 points in overtime to help the Charlotte Bobcats defeat the Chicago Bulls 91-86 last night. Al Jefferson added 10 points and 18 rebounds for Charlotte. Chris Douglas-Roberts finished with 13 points after being held scoreless for the first three quarters. D.J. Augustin had 17 points for the Bulls.

CHICAGO (AP) - The Boston Red Sox outlasted the White Sox 6-4 in a game that lasted 5 hours and 17 minutes last night. Jackie Bradley Jr. hit a two-run double off Chicago infielder Leury Garcia in the top of the 14th inning. Chris Capuano pitched 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to get the win.

NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Yankees beat the Chicago Cubs 2-0 and 3-0 last night to complete its first doubleheader shutout sweep since 1987. Brett Gardner and Scott Sizemore had RBI singles off Travis Wood in the nightcap. They helped the Yankees win for the fifth time in six games and handed Chicago its fourth straight loss.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - The Milwaukee Brewers turned two errors into four unearned runs yesterday in a 5-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals that ended a two-game losing streak. Milwaukee salvaged the finale of the three-game set. Wily Peralta allowed six hits and struck out three. Cardinals starter Joe Kelly gave up an unearned run and three hits in four innings.
