Born and raised in Illinois, Lynnanne has always been a Midwestern girl at heart, but is brand new to the Quad Cities! She grew up in Wheaton, IL, a western suburb of Chicago, and received a bachelor's degree in Journalism and International Studies from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
Coming to KWQC as an avid Wildcat fan in Hawkeye nation, Lynnanne is used to being a lone sports fan in 'enemy' territory. She previously reported at the NBC affiliate in Green Bay, WI in the heart of Packer country while being a loyal Chicago Bears fan at the same time! While there, she had the chance to report on exciting events such as the Packers 2011 Super Bowl victory (it was hard not to try to steal the Lombardi trophy and make a run for it), President Obama's visit to Northeast Wisconsin, and the 2011 Wisconsin Budget Crisis. Other previous reporting experiences include interning at WGN-TV in Chicago, where she had a front row seat to the first trial of Rod Blagojevich in 2010.
Outside of reporting, Lynnanne loves to travel, having been to several different parts of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Every weekend in the fall, you can catch her cheering on her Wildcats and Chicago Bears from the stands or home.
If you'd like to discuss who has the better Big Ten team or have a story idea you'd like to share, she would love to hear from you!
