the Moline baseball team banged out 15-hits and scored 17-runs in a wild 17-1 romp past Normal Community in the IHSA 4A Regional. the Maroons will now face top-seeded Normal West at 11am on Saturday.

And a sad note for 'Hawkeye Nation'..as legendary Jim Zabel..the radio voice of the Hawkeyes for more than 40-years... passed away at his Arizona home. Zabel was a Davenport native...and truly loved the black and gold. Rest in peace, Big Z.
