Davenport Public Works has posted the following notices:

Tuesday, April 10th, East 11th Street will be closed between Jersey Ridge Road and Christie Street. The closure is necessary in order for a private contractor to install a water service. Access to businesses in the area will still be available. Motorists are advised to take the signed detour route or use alternate routes until the work is completed. The road is expected to be reopened on Friday, April 13.

Westbound West Central Park Avenue east of Division Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic during this second week of April while crews prepare the surface of the roadway for new asphalt. The roadway will then be reopened but closed again at a later date when the asphalt plants are open and crews can begin laying the new surface. Please use caution when driving in this area.

Monday, April 9th, West Locust Street between Cedar Street and Wilkes Street will be reduced to a single lane of travel for each direction on the north side. Both eastbound lanes will be closed, due to work related to the Locust Street Bridge over the Iowa Interstate Railroad Rehabilitation Project. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid possible delays until the work is completed in early July.

Monday, April 16th, crews will be completing the project started last year on Harrison Street between Locust and 12th Streets and closing two lanes of traffic.  The Work is expected to take approximately one month, with the closures switching from the west side to the east side after two weeks.
