Davenport Bank Robber Quickly Caught - Update

A bank robbery in Davenport came to a quick conclusion Monday afternoon. Police say a man walked into the Northwest Bank and Trust branch at 1454 W. Locust St. with a note demanding money.

Authorities say that a bank employee handed the man some bundles. The suspect then fled the scene.

Police have arrested Corderrel Arnordo Turner, AKA Cory Turner, and have charged him with 2nd degree robbery.

Police credit the description that the bank employees were able to give for the quick apprehension of the suspect. Officials say officers were able to locate the suspect just a few blocks away.

Update: Police have arrested Arnordo Corderrel Turner, AKA Cory Turner. He is charged with 2nd degree robbery and is currently being held at the Scott County Jail with a $10,000 bond.
