Four people from Davenport are now under arrest in connection with the death of a Rock Island man.

The body of 51-year-old Alan K. Porter was found Monday afternoon next to the Rock Island bike path between the Centennial and Crescent bridges. A bicyclist reported the body to police.

The investigation led Rock Island officers to arrest four people on Wednesday. 20-year-old Ryan B. Mosher is charged with homicide. The three others are charged with concealing a homicidal death. Those people are 23-year-old Jesse R. Martin, 26-year-old Patrick K. Watts and 28-year-old Melinda N. Burkhardt. All four are in the Rock Island County jail.

According to Rock Island County Coroner Brian Gustafson, Porter died of "traumatic injuries of a suspicious nature." Police aren't saying exactly how he was killed yet.
