Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is coming to Davenport on Monday, June 18. He's holding a rally at LeClaire Park at 4 p.m. The public can start arriving at 3 p.m.

Romney's Davenport stop is part of his "Every Town Counts" bus tour. The five-day tour takes him to six states, including several key battleground states like Iowa.

On Monday, he starts his day in Wisconsin. Romney plans to visit Janesville, a town hard hit by the economic recession. He's appearing with Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, the architect of the House Republicans' budget plan.

After campaigning in Wisconsin, Romney heads to Dubuque where he'll take a boat ride on the Mississippi River. That's a private event with campaign volunteers.

From Dubuque he heads to Davenport for the rally at LeClaire Park. Early Monday morning, the lights were already on at the Bandshell and flags lined the sidewalk near the Mississippi River. Romney was last in Davenport at the end of December, right before the Iowa Caucuses.

He is expected to speak around 5 p.m. To watch our live coverage of the visit, click here for live streaming of our 5 p.m. newscast.
