A crowd of several hundred greeted Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney in Davenport Monday. He stopped for a rally in LeClaire park and supporters braved high temperatures to hear him speak.

This stop here is part of his "Every Town Counts" bus tour. Romney is made two stops in Iowa Monday. Before Davenport he was in Dubuque, where he took a boat ride on the Mississippi.

Romney made an entrance into the Davenport rally on his bus as supporters cheered, "Mitt, Mitt, Mitt." His wife introduced him on the stage. Romney then told supporters that he represents brighter days ahead. He spoke about how unemployment rates across the country are not getting better. He plans to bring more manufacturing jobs and take advantage of different energy resources such as oil and coal. Romney also took many digs at President Obama. He said he agreed with Obama when he recent said every American deserves a fair shot. But Romney went on to question if Obama is giving them their fair shot.

This was the third visit Romney has made to the state of Iowa since the caucuses. The final state on his bus tour is Michigan.

Meanwhile, democrats are not staying quiet while Romney focuses on these six battleground states. The Democratic National Committee is stopping in each state one day before Romney's campaign does, pre-empting all of his visits. Sunday they were in Davenport.
