OTTUMWA, Iowa - Clean-up efforts have begun after severe storms rolled through southeastern Iowa Saturday evening.

The storm blew the roof off of the Appanoose Rapids Brewing Company. Tim Ware, the owner, estimated the storm damage could cost him up to $50,000 to repair.

Kinyotta Pope said a huge tree branch tore through the windshield of her car as she too shelter from the storm in her home.  "It went straight through the steering column, straight through it," said Pope.

More than 200 customers in the Ottumwa area are still without power, according to Alliant Energy.

The clean-up is expected to take days, possibly longer.
