Update: Missing man has been found. The Davenport Police would like to thank the community for their help. The original story follows.

The Davenport Police need your help in locating a missing person. 60-year-old Robert James Hakes walked away from St. Francis Chateau assisted living 1926 N. Linwood Ave in Davenport (West Locust St. area). Mr. Hakes was wearing blue jeans, golf shirt and black & gold Iowa jacket. Police say he is Male white, 5'10", 170 lbs, has salt & pepper hair along with scruffy facial hair.

Mr. Hakes suffered a recent stroke and has memory problems. Authorities say he walked away from the assisted living center and needs to be located due to serious health concerns, weather and his existing physical condition.

Anyone with ANY info is urged to call the Davenport Police by dialing 9-1-1.
