JOB OPENING:  Full-Time Executive News Producer

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The #1 news station in the Quad Cities is looking for its next great Executive News Producer. The qualified candidate must have a passion for local television news. We are looking for a strong and visionary leader, with excellent news judgment, ethics, writing, organizational and communication skills. Our Executive News Producer will help oversee the composition and flow of each newscast, assign stories to each newscast, help reporters shape stories, as well as be a guide for a our news vision on-air, online and through any news platform.  Must be able to work well with a variety of people including the news director, anchors, reporters, editors, and technical crew.

QUALIFICATIONS:  A college degree in journalism or related field and 5 years minimum experience in a newsroom. Excellent writing, editing, organizational and people skills.  In lieu of a college degree, applicants with 7 or more years of experience will be considered. Must have a valid drivers' license and be insurable.
