Residents of Carbon Cliff are being asked to conserve water this weekend. Officials say that due to the current high demand and recent work on Well #4, the storage tanks are experiencing "periods of below standard water levels."

Village officials want to reassure residents that there is plenty of water; however, the level of water in the tanks has "fallen below what the Water Department feels is an optimal level."

To conserve water over the weekend, the Village is asking residents to avoid excessive water usage such as watering the lawn, filling swimming pools, washing cars, etc.

Anyone with questions should contact the Village Hall at 792-8235.
