A motorcycle accident in Davenport has one man in the hospital and police looking for clues. The incident happened Wednesday night around 9:40 at Rockingham Rd. Near the I-280 Exit.

Police say 37-year-old Terry Cook of Davenport was riding a motorcycle and hit the back of a pickup truck, then lost control. According to reports, he suffered serious injuries and was transferred from a local hospital to University Hospitals in Iowa City, IA.

According to reports, he was not wearing a helmet and police say they believe speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
