Niabi Zoo is making it a little easier to beat the heat and enjoy their amazing animals this summer. Starting now through August, the zoo will stay open later on Thursdays to allow visitors a chance to see the exhibits as the temperatures cool in the afternoon.
Zoo Director, Marc Heinzman says along with cooler temperatures, the early evenings typically have smaller crowds.
Heinzman goes on to say "It's a much more relaxed atmosphere than you might have on a visit during the day, and the animals are usually more active."
The zoo will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays, although the last admission will be at 7:30 p.m. All other days of the week, Niabi Zoo's hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
