A Moline man is in custody after a stabbing early Wednesday morning. Police were called to the 1500 block of 31st Avenue in Moline a little before 3:00 AM.

When officers got to the scene they found a 44-year-old man who had been stabbed in the back. Witnesses told police they saw 31-year-old Benjamin L. Feliksiak stab the victim repeatedly.

Both the victim and the suspect were taken to Trinity Medical Center West. There's no word yet on the victim's condition.

Feliksiak is now charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery. He's currently in the Rock Island County Jail on $75,000 bond.
