Sterling Police tell KWQC an automatic teller machine which was taken from the Northland Mall in Sterling two months ago has been found.
Two boys heading to a pond to fish stumbled upon the stolen ATM. The machine was on land, not in the water and is now being checked out at the Illinois State Police crime lab.
The ATM is one of several that have been taken recently that police think are connected.
