Four people in Mercer County were arrested on drug charges Friday, July 27, 2012. Sheriff's officers say they arrested 21-year-old Steven Adams of Aledo, Ill., for violating probation and found materials consistent with making meth.

They later arrested three other people;18 year-old Jerri Floyd of New Boston, and 19-year olds Shane Holem and Gordon Crook, both from Muscatine.

Adams was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Methamphetamine Conspiracy, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Participation in Methamphetamine Manufacturing.

Floyd was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Obstructing Justice.

Holem was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Conspiracy, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Materials.

Crook was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Conspiracy, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Materials.
