The US Women's Gymnastics Team wins a gold medal and for local gymnasts the win is an inspiration.
At Summit Gymnastics in Moline aspiring gymnasts are cheering on the US Gymnastics Team.
"It's awesome, it's so much fun to watch," says Alyssa Coil, "I could watch it all day."
"It's really good, I wish I could do that some day," adds Abhi Sodhani.
While practicing every swing and every flip, the group is hoping that one day they'll tumble their way into the Olympics.
"I just think it looks really cool and I want to do that too when I get older," says Audrey Lamphle.
"It seems like after watching the Olympics, I always want to do gymnastics," says Emma Anderson.
"I'm excited to see the gymnastics and see what they do at that level," adds Taylor Puglisi, "Maybe I'll do that someday."
The gymnasts have been training for years; many of them saw the sport for the first time during the Olympics.
"I was watching gymnastics when I was 6 I think," says Sydney Markin, "I just saw gymnastics and I wanted to do gymnastics."
"I watched the Olympics and I thought it was cool, so I wanted to train," says George McKinney.
"I enjoy doing all the tricks and learning new things."
THE kids already know what parts of training they enjoy.
"On the bars I like to do fly away's and release moves," adds Anderson, "On the floor I just like to tumble."
"The trampoline," says Luke Moen, "It's so bouncy and so fun."
"I like flipping and doing the bars," says Megan Lodico.
The gymnasts are also learning lessons from the Olympic champions.
"It tells you, you have to work harder until you're really good," says Sodhani.
