Officials from the U.S. Marshall Service announced details Friday morning on the auction planned for Rita Crundwell's belongings. The Marshall Service has contracted the services of Professional Auction Services to handle the auction.

The auction will be held on Sunday and Monday, September 23 and 24, 2012. The auction will include 400 of Rita Crundwell's horses among other property seized by the Marshall Service.

Proceeds will go to the city of Dixon, Ill. to pay back the $53 million she is accused of stealing from the city since 1990.

Crundwell has pleaded not guilty to wire fraud. Her next hearing is set for August 29, 2012.
