One person suffered burns and smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a Moline, Ill. home over the weekend. The blaze happened early Saturday morning around 4:00 at a two story home in the 1300 of 17th street.
The resident called 9-1-1 for help. They were able to escape from the house and were taken to the hospital. When fire crews arrived, smoke and flames were coming out the second story of the wood-frame house.
Fire crews say the fire started in a bedroom on the second floor, but they haven't determined the cause yet. Damage is estimated at around $31,000.
