Authorities are on the look out for an escapee from the Davenport Residential Correctional Facility. 22-year-old Tyler Sebastian Lampe was placed on escape status at 10:40 a.m. August 13, 2012.
Lampe was transferred to work release on April 27, 2012 after being granted a work release by the Iowa Board of Parole. Work Release is a minimum security setting which allows offenders an opportunity to gradually adjust to the transition between prison and the community.
Mr. Lampe was serving a 10 year sentence for Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon. His sentence began on July 30, 2010. Police describe him as being a white male with brown hair, hazel eyes, standing 5'8" and weighing 152 lbs.
Police ask that any information as to Lampe's whereabouts be reported to the Davenport Police Department or Scott County Sheriff's Department.
