Authorities in Henry County, Iowa think they have solved a recent rash of ATV thefts with the arrest of two suspects. Officials got a break in the case just before dawn on Aug. 8, when a call came in about two four wheelers headed north on Hoover Avenue with no lights. A deputy intercepted, but the drivers didn't stop. The pursuit continued near N. Broadway St. and Winfield Ave. where 18-year-old Daryn Ackley of Mt. Pleasant was arrested on theft and eluding charges.

Authorities determined the ATVs were taken from Warsaw, Illinois. After further investigating, they also arrested 34-year-old Amy Scarff of Mt. Pleasant on theft charges.

The sheriff's office say the suspects are linked to other recent four wheeler thefts. One was stolen on July 24 in Mt. Pleasant. Another was taken on July 22, also in Mt. Pleasant. Those vehicles have been recovered.
