One person is dead and one injured after a police involved shooting in Iowa City. The incident happened Thursday around 7:00 p.m., when two members of the Johnson County Drug Task Force were conducting undercover operations at the Breckenridge Trailer Court.
According to the report, during the operation an altercation ensued and shots were fired. One person is confirmed dead and second suspect is being treated at an area hospital. Officials say the two agents involved were un-injured.
At the time of the report, names of the suspects and the officers were being withheld pending family notification and further investigation.
