Davenport Police need your help in locating the driver in a hit and run that occurred Wednesday night. The incident happened on Locust Street near Lillie Avenue around 8:30 p.m.

Police say a dark colored 4 door car was westbound on Locust when it collided with a motorcycle that was also westbound on Locust. The motorcyclist was seriously injured.

According to the report, the dark-colored passenger car stopped a short distance from the scene, but took off as responding emergency personnel started to arrive.
