Davenport Police need your help in locating the driver in a hit and run that occurred Wednesday night. The incident happened on Locust Street near Lillie Avenue around 8:30 p.m.
Police say a dark colored 4 door car was westbound on Locust when it collided with a motorcycle that was also westbound on Locust. The motorcyclist was seriously injured.
According to the report, the dark-colored passenger car stopped a short distance from the scene, but took off as responding emergency personnel started to arrive.
Police ask that anyone having any information on the identity or whereabouts of the car and driver involved to please call the Davenport Police Department (563) 326-6125 or Quad City Crime Stoppers at (309) 762-9500.
