One week after President Obama stops in Davenport, Mitt Romney is making a campaign stop in Bettendorf. The GOP presidential candidate will be speaking Wednesday at noon at LeClaire Manufacturing in Bettendorf. Tickets are available for anyone who wants to hear Romney speak. Tickets are free, you can register on Mitt Romney's web site.

KWQC spoke with one local man who is planning to go to the event. Ross Murty, co-owner of The Village Corner Deli in Davenport, stirred up some controversy last week when President Obama came to town --

"I wore a T-shirt that said, 'Government didn't build my business, I did,'" said Murty. His business catered to the President's press corps.

"There was never a question in my mind whether we were going to take the business or not. Whether you agree with politics, business is business," he said.

Murty made it clear that while President Obama could have a sandwich, he can not have Murty's vote. Now, Mitt Romney is coming to Bettendorf, and Murty hopes to see him speak. But it looks like business may get in the way of politics once again --

"Unfortunately it's right at noontime so it's going to be a little tricky if I'm going to be able to make it or not because being a deli," Murty said. "That's our busiest time."
