Update: East Moline Police are on the lookout for a suspect in the August 23, 2012 robbery of the Phillips 66 Mini-Mart , located at 4149 7th St, East Moline, Ill. Police say the suspect grabbed the throat of the clerk and stole a gold necklace.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 34-year-old Ajayi M. McIntyre of Rock Island, Ill., for Robbery and Theft.

Original Story: Police in East Moline are searching for a suspect after an unusual robbery at a convenience store. Instead of going for the cash drawer, the robber took the necklace worn around the store clerk's neck.
Around 7:30 Thursday morning, the suspect walked into the Phillips 66 Mini-Mart in the 4000 block of 7th St. According to police, he grabbed the throat of the clerk and stole a gold necklace.
Police released a picture of the suspect taken by a surveillance camera. He's described as about 5' 10" tall with a medium build, wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants and a black Chicago baseball hat.
